Stock management is active by default. Enter the stock of each product on its product page, in the “Stock” field.
What happens automatically
- The stock goes down with each confirmed order, including orders by cheque or bank transfer awaiting payment;
- in the basket, the quantity ordered is limited to the available stock;
- at zero, the product is shown as “Unavailable”.
Restocking
With the “Suppliers” menu, prepare your purchase orders; when the goods are received, the stock of your products is updated automatically.
Keep an eye on
- After a cancellation or a refund, the stock is not updated: correct it if the product goes back on sale;
- regularly check your low-stock products in the product list.
