Your customers ask for a quote
- without creating an account: the “Request a quote” button opens a short 4-step wizard: the project (new project, renovation, repair, maintenance), the need, the timing, budget and town, then contact details. You are notified straight away;
- for catalogue products: a logged-in customer asks for a quote for one or more products, or for their whole basket. Handy for large quantities, business customers or customised products. They find their quotes under “My quotes”.
You write the quote in minutes
Open the “Quotes” menu of your back office. Add catalogue products (price and VAT filled in automatically) and free lines for labour, travel or a specific supply. You can add a discount, shipping costs, a lead time, the expected payment method and an expiry date. Net totals, VAT and the grand total are calculated as you type. Internal notes are never shown to the customer.
Sent as a PDF, approved online
The quote is sent as a numbered PDF with your company and VAT numbers. The customer opens the link in the e-mail, ticks “Approved” and types their name: the date, time, name and IP address are recorded and printed on the PDF. They can also decline it and say why. They said yes on the phone? Mark the quote “Accepted offline”.
After the yes
You sell goods: the approved quote becomes an order awaiting payment. You do jobs on site: you set the work date, then mark the job as done and invoiced. The quote list shows the status of each one (received, sent, accepted, declined, expired, scheduled, done, invoiced) and flags those about to expire.
How much does it cost?
Nothing extra: online quotes are included in the subscription, with no commission on approved quotes. And you only pay when you sell: your subscription starts with your first order.
