123ventes regularly backs up your shop for you. You can also make your own backups.
Making a backup
Open the “Maintenance” menu, “Backups” tab, and click “Back up”: all the data of your shop is saved.
Restoring
In the same tab, choose a backup from the list, then click “Restore”.
Good habits
- Back up before a major change: importing products, overhauling the catalogue;
- for the design, duplicate your site in the site collection instead: you keep the previous version intact;
- the “Purges” tab deletes your test orders and orphaned products, with an archive made before deletion.
